Frequently Asked Questions

How will you find the right carer for our family

During the initial assessment, we take detailed notes about your loved one's hobbies, interests, and needs. We then review our caregiver pool to find the person with the matching personality and skills. A member of our team will also be present on the first day of home care for the caregiver introduction and to ensure a smooth start.

Do you train your carers?

It is mandatory for all carers at Care Staffing to undertake and complete our Induction Process before commencing any duties of care.

This will involve commitment and participation in on-going set programmes such as:

  • Moving & Handling
  • Health & Safety
  • Safeguarding
  • Food Hygiene
  • Fire Safety
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Infection Control (including Donning and Doffing of PPE, Hand Hygiene)
  • Medication Administration

Will we have the same carer each time?

We try and make sure that you receive the same care; however, we can't guarantee that they will be available each time as they might be on holiday or call in sick etc.

What do I do if I don't like my carer?

If you aren't comfortable with the carer that you currently have it is important that you contact us as soon as possible - you can call or email us. We will try our best to find you a new carer that you feel comfortable with.

Are your home care staff insured?

Yes, all our staff are fully insured for both personal and public liability.
