Meet our Staff

Karen Tait - Operation & Compliance Manager

Hello, my name is Karen Tait and I am the Operations and Compliance Manager for Care Staffing Ltd.

I have worked in the caring profession for over 30 years after being trained in Rugby’s Hospital of St Cross as a Health Care Assistant, before moving to the private sector.

I later became a Registered Care Manager for more than 20 years,

managing a total of 8 different Nursing and Residential Care Homes, in and around Rugby. I later became an Operations Manager overseeing a total of 9 Care Homes, both here in Rugby and also in Dorset and Wiltshire.

I have a proven record of management and “hands-on” care skills and have a personal philosophy of care which demands that Service Users receive the same care, love and respect that members of our own family would expect; believing strongly that without these three basic values, people who are in care or who are being cared for at home, cannot have the quality of life to which they are entitled.

I have attended many training courses over the years that I have been working in the caring profession, my two highest qualifications accomplished being:

  1. Advanced Management in Care
  2. City & amp; Guilds NVQ Level 7 in Care.

I have a bright and friendly personality with courteous telephone/verbal skills which makes me very approachable.

Emma – Registered Manager

With nearly 28 years of experience in the care sector, I’ve developed a deep understanding and passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care. My journey has taken me through various settings, including care homes, supported living environments, and hospice wards, allowing me to build a broad and compassionate approach to care.

I hold NVQ Level 2, 3, and 5 qualifications in Health and Social Care, with the Level 5 focusing on Leadership and Management. Over the years, I’ve served as a Registered Manager in both residential and home care settings, including over six years leading a care home in Rugby.

My goal is to ensure that every client receives the highest standard of care with dignity, respect, and a personalised approach. I believe that home care goes beyond practical support—it's about companionship, trust, and making a real difference in people’s lives. I’m proud to bring my skills, experience, and warm, friendly nature to the team at Care Staffing Ltd.
